Muchos nos han dicho que menuda locura lo de este disco, pero es que los Ramones son los Ramones. Grabar este disco era una idea que rondaba en la cabeza de Luis Sánchez (Depressing Claim, Los Reactivos, Heatwaves) desde hacía años. Comprado el mismo día de su publicación y coincidiendo con un bache anímico, este disco se convirtió en su favorito. Por unas cosas u otras nunca encontró el momento de hacerlo, hasta que llegó la cuarentena. 3 meses puliendo junto a Kurt Baker (Leftovers, KB Band / Combo, Bullet Proof Lovers, The Gold), Jose Andrés Albertos (Airbag) y Raúl Artana (Puk*2) las canciones del Mondo Bizarro.

Y sí, es una grabación “tan innecesaria como necesaria” (Juancar Bonzo dixit). Innecesaria porque versionear un disco entero de Ramones en el año 2021 no tiene ningún sentido (si alguna vez lo tuvo) y más aún viendo como suena el original. Pero necesario, por otro lado, porque todos los homenajes que se hagan a los más grandes son pocos. Y si están hechos con el detalle y amor que le han puesto K7s, hacen de este disco un “must”.

Cuenta, además, con la colaboración a las teclas del gran Kris Rodgers, compañero de batallas de Kurt Baker.
